PSI of WA (POSTPARTUM SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL OF WASHINGTON)

PSI of WA has a toll free Warm Line 1-888-404-PPMD (7763). Calls will be returned within 24 hours. The Warm Line offers support, information regarding perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and referrals to mental health specialists and local support groups. A free informational booklet is also available by calling the Warm Line. Financial assistance for treatment is available for those who qualify.

POSTPARTUM PROGRESS

A blog that offers in-depth information, support and hope for pregnant and new moms with postpartum depression and all other mental illnesses relating to pregnancy and childbirth, including postpartum anxiety, postpartum OCD, depression or anxiety during pregnancy, post-adoption depression, postpartum PTSD, depression after miscarriage or perinatal loss and postpartum psychosis. Postpartum Progress is committed to raising awareness, providing peer support and building community, and fighting the stigma of maternal mental illness.

EARLY DAYS

Early Days is a drop-in support group located in West Seattle. The group meets on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm at Limber Yoga and uses the same MotherWoman group format that we use here at Life After Birth.

KITSAP Hope Circle

Kitsap HOPE Circle groups also follows the MotherWoman format and serve families of the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. Groups meet in the evenings and are available at multiple locations.
